iJakarta Application Socialized to Balaikota Vaganza Visitors

Jakarta Library and Archive Department (Dispusip) introduces digital library called iJakarta at Balaikota Vaganza event held on the ground floor of Block G Building, Jakarta City Hall on October 21-22, 2019.

It facilitates reader to read book anytime, anywhere

West Jakarta Abang Buku 2019, Yordan Rizki M. stated, iJakarta is an innovative application from Jakarta Dispusip which is made to encourage Jakartans to love reading book. in this digital library, people can interact with other users by sharing or giving book recommendations.  

"It facilitates reader to read book anytime, anywhere," he said, Tuesday (10/22).

More Than 2 Million People Have Visited Dispusip's Conventional Libraries

He explained, iJakarta application is equipped with five features; book collections, e-pustaka, feed, book shelf, and e-reader. Dispusip currently has about 580 thousand digital books for its collection.

"We also have virtual book shelf. User can borrow book anytime," he mentioned.

One of Jakarta Health Department (Dinkes) employees, Evi admitted that her side has downloaded iJakarta application and get various information easier through this application. Because, it helps her to access various books and scientific works.

"Many books about science, novel, health books in this application. It has quite complete book collections," she asserted.
